Live Beyond The Chains Of Your Circumstances
It doesn't matter if your prison is in a room surrounded by concrete and bars, or if it is wrapped up inside your mind, your spirit cries to be free. Ministering in Indianapolis, Indiana and the surrounding counties, Beyond The Chains Ministry, Inc., is a not for profit organization that labors to teach those in prison, and the recently released how to live beyond the chains of the circumstances of their life.
Addictions, criminal lifestyles, dissappointment, guilt, and pain are all a part of the offender's life. Getting beyond the past is one of the most difficult things an offender can do. However, BTCM knows and strives to teach how true freedom can be achieved through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus himself said, "If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed."
After his own imprisonment for preaching the truth the Apostle Paul declared to King Agrippa in Acts 26:29 "I would wish to God, that whether in a short time or long time, not only you, but also all who hear me this day, might become such as I am, except for these chains." Paul knew what it was like to be in chains. He also knew the victory one could find by focusing on Christ and learning to live beyond the chains of one's circumstances. Later in life Paul wrote to the church in Rome that we are to "be transformed by the renewing of the mind." Paul knew that it is by the power of God through Jesus Christ that true transformation takes place and one becomes truly free.
BTCM teaches the offenders how to let go of their chains and allow God to renew them through the transforming power of His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
